What is the CFA exam?
The CFA exam is a three-part exam-Level I,Level II,and Level III.Testing the knowledge and skills of financial analysts,each level of the curriculum builds on the prior level,becoming increasingly complex.
These three levels equip you with real-world skills in investment analysis and make up the CFA Program.Once completed,you can become a globally recognized Chartered Financial Analyst?(CFA?)-a prestigious distinction that differentiates you in the competitive finance industry.
CFA exam dates&fees
CFA Program exams are administered four times a year,at over 400 testing centers around the world in most major cities.You’re allowed to take the CFA exam a maximum of twice each calendar year but not in consecutive windows or windows that are six months or less apart.

The one-time enrollment fee of USD 350 is charged when you first enroll for the Level I exam(see price changes beginning with 2026 exams);it is not charged for subsequent exams(Level II and Level III)or exam retakes.
